New Fencing and New Gate
We now have a new gate between the car park and court two. No more muddy shoes in winter, no need to bring your wellies to play anymore!
The fencing has also been replaced along the field side of courts one and three and new posts added at the far end of court three, so the courts are again safe and secure.
A big thankyou to The Co-op, Drax power station and Selby council for their extremely kind donations that have helped us to fund these improvements.
Winter Singles Tournament
Jack is setting up a men's and ladies' singles tournament for over winter to keep us all moving. This is available to all adult members regardless of ability. It will run on a ladder system and will consist of roughly one match a month. In spring the top four ladies and men will compete in singles finals and mixed doubles.

Fundraising Walk
We are walking to raise funds needed for further repairs to the surface of court two.
We are walking 11 miles, in a figure eight loop allowing members to take part in a shortened route if preferred. The walk is Sunday 17th October and will meet at 9:30 at the tennis courts. Everyone welcome!!
You can walk by paying a flat fee of £20 or raise sponsorship, which ever you prefer. Sponsor forms available at cherry tree store or on our website home page. Come along and take part.
